When our mother decided to leave the family home and move to senior housing, she left a home that she had lived in for over 50 years. It had last been updated in the 1970’s. We live back East, and a family friend recommended Michelle to us. She was outstanding. We came out for just one week, to organize emptying the house of furniture, and personal possessions (and all the ‘junk’ that can accumulate in a house lived in for so long); to determine what renovations were needed to update the house, and to decide on a marketing strategy that would enable us to sell the house as quickly as possible. Michelle guided us through all of this. She had resources for everything; from the ladies who helped us go through and empty the house, to the contractors, painters and landscapers who were able to do all the work needed to make the house look current and inviting. She even went with us to Home Depot to pick out the new light and bath fixtures. We returned home after one week, basically leaving it all in Michelle’s hands.

We trusted her with everything from overseeing all the updating, to personally taking our mother to the closing. She kept us current with all the activities, and stuck to her strategy of selling the house within one month (3 weeks were spent on minor renovations, painting, landscaping, etc). We had the house on the market for only 10 days, and accepted a bid that was higher than our asking price.
